We believe in tasty and honest food that comes from cooking with the freshest vegetables.
When we buy them we like to touch, squeeze and smell; it's all about the quality. Unlike big supermarkets we don't have the luxury of wall to wall fridges, which means that there's nowhere to hide. You will know what you buy is fresh, because we haven't chilled, chopped and vacuum packed your vegetables to make them last beyond their natural sell by date.
We also try to keep the food miles down by finding local producers, but you can't get your bananas from Worcestershire so we brave the midnight hour at the iconic Birmingham Market.

Delicious Tomatoes
The Drew family have been producing tomatoes for over 50 years at Haven Nurseries, Little Whitley in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside.
Their crops are grown using natural methods for pollination, pest and desease control and harvest when the fruit are fully red & ripe.

From neighbouring farm,
Chapel Farm in Little Whitley, H. Owen & Son supply us with beautiful strawberries at the end of June and July at its seasonal best.
They also supply us with unrivalled asparagus and amazing cherries.
